Crime figures June 2009

Please click here for the police report (PDF file) on crime in the Keyworth area during June 2009.

There has been an increasing trend of instances of criminal damage to dwellings and attempted burglaries. Please keep your home and car secure, and avoid falling prey to "warm-weather crime" when windows are left open.

There have also been some instances of identification fraud, which can be aided by the theft of personal details from documents such as bank statements and utility bills. Please use a shredder to destroy outdated documents - don't just put them in the bin.

The Week of Action is coming up during 12-19 July, when there will be a big increase in police activity in Keyworth.

The next Local Area Group meeting of the police with councillors and members of the public will be at Keyworth Police Station at 10.00 on Wednesday 29 July. You are all welcome to attend and tell the police about your concerns.

Emma Thacker and Adam Woodward are based at Keyworth Police Station in Digital House (behind Somerfield, just off the Square). The direct telephone number is 0115 914 1620. The best time to find an officer at the station is between 8.00 and 9.00 am and between 3.00 and 4.00 pm on weekdays.

Please see the last page of the report for details of when and where police beat surgeries will be held.
