Car park closures in Keyworth
During the next few weeks, Rushcliffe Borough Council will be carrying out upgrades and maintenance on its car parks in Bunny Lane and Church Drive, Keyworth. Efforts are being to minimise disruption. Please carefully note the following arrangements.
Bunny Lane
30 March - 17 April The usual entrance to the car park (to the left of Buzz Fitness) will be closed while resurfacing is done. Traffic in and out of the car park, the Health Centre and the service road for the shops will go via the usual exit from the car park (to the right of Buzz Fitness), which will be two-way for the duration of the work.
All parking spaces will be available as usual throughout this period. All drivers heading for the car park, the Health Centre, the bottle banks and the service road for the shops are asked to take extra care while negotiating the temporary two-way system.
No work will be done on the car park itself, only on the entrance to it.
Church Drive
23 March - 3 April The car park will remain fully open, but the row of parking spaces next to the road will be moved back by 2 metres in order to allow a low wall to be built in place of the existing bollards. The contractors' staff will be on hand to help drivers with any tight parking manoeuvres.
6 - 17 April During the 2-week school holiday, the car park will be closed while it is resurfaced and marked out. New lighting columns will also be installed.
