Crime figures October 2008

Please click here for the police report (PDF file) on crime in the Keyworth area during October 2008.

I can do no better than quote from the police report:

"
A very busy month in Keyworth whereby burglary and antisocial behaviour seem to figure. There have been lots of targeted patrols especially on a Friday night, which has led to some positive results. If you have any knowledge with regard to any of the above crimes, then please let us know, even if by an anonymous tip off. Try Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."

There have been two robberies (including one at Martins' newsagents) and two assaults. Burglary and criminal damage are continuing at an excessive rate. Remember to lock your home and car. This is a "good" time of year for robbers, thieves and burglars to ply their loathsome trade.

The next Local Area Group meeting of the police with councillors and members of the public will be at Keyworth Police Station at 10.00 on Wednesday 10 December. You are all welcome to attend and tell the police about your concerns.

Emma Thacker and Kylie Wimbledon are based at Keyworth Police Station in Digital House (behind Somerfield, just off the Square). The direct telephone number is 0115 914 1620. The best time to find an officer at the station is between 8.00 and 9.00 am and between 3.00 and 4.00 pm on weekdays.

Please see the last page of the report for details of when and where police beat surgeries will be held.
