There has been a recent trend of small-scale thefts, e.g. of unattended mobile phones, and of burglaries to homes. Please keep an eye on your personal possessions and ensure that your home is secured whenever you are out or asleep or down at the bottom of the garden.
Do burglaries only happen to other people? No, they don't!! If you see your road (or a nearby road) mentioned in the crime report, think what you would have to do to ensure that you're not next on the burglar's list.
Rushcliffe Borough Council is now responsible for parking enforcement and for ticketing vehicles parked on yellow lines in Keyworth. There is now more effective enforcement than when the police were responsible for it - be warned!
The local police have acquired a new speed camera which they use on an ad hoc basis - be warned!
The next Local Area Group meeting of the police with councillors and members of the public will be at Keyworth Police Station at 10.00 on Wednesday 1 October. You are all welcome to attend and tell the police about your concerns.
