The price of various metals (copper, lead, tin, nickel, aluminium etc.) has recently shot up sharply, and this has unfortunately led to an increase in metal thefts. Lead has been taken from church and house roofs, copper has been taken from building sites, aluminium road signs have been taken, etc.
Recently 3 people were arrested on Bunny Church roof stealing lead. The police think they are responsible for all the thefts in the area. But the roof had been treated with "SmartWater", which will now go a long way in supporting the prosecution!
