Composting toilet installed
at Keyworth allotments
A self-contained composting toilet has been installed at the Keyworth allotments in Willowbrook. The toilet provides a clean and decent facility for both female and male allotment users and is protected by a lock with a numerical code. Waste matter is composted and deposited in the soil, without any need for connection to the drains.
Grants towards the cost of approximately £6000 were made via borough councillors from the Community Support Scheme.
