Parking "loopholes"
don't exist!
Recent media coverage has highlighted loopholes in car parking regulations in the Traffic Management Act. Such loopholes do not affect the Notts Parking Partnership or Rushcliffe Borough Council car parks. All necessary preparatory action (such as checking the accuracy and legality of all yellow lines in the county) was taken by councils in Nottinghamshire before Civil Parking Enforcement began on 12 May 2008.
All Penalty Charge Notices issued in car parks are legal until challenged and will not be withdrawn.
