Heritage plaque unveiled
in Keyworth
An information panel (or "heritage plaque") has been installed in The Square in Keyworth in a very central position opposite the church. Following a great deal of research, this panel presents an impressive amount of information about Keyworth's history and the principal historic buildings in the village centre. Some of these buildings are very prominent, such as the Parish Church and the Methodist Church. Others, such as Manor Farm and the village pump, are long gone.
This commendable project has been supported by Keyworth Parish Council, Keyworth Local History Society, and the Rotary Club of Keyworth and Ruddington.
