I advise shop and pub owners to keep a watch on their public areas and shelves. How many times have we found a shop apparently unmanned? It's an open invitation to thieves.
Please continue to lock and secure your home and car.
Please also inform the police if you see anyone committing criminal damage. Don't "have a go" unless you have other people with you and are confident of stopping the miscreants without causing injury or damage.
