There has been quite a noticeable increase in house burglary and theft from vehicles, in which the offenders have broken windows or forced doors open. Please be aware of criminals' readiness to break in, and ensure that your home and car are secured with locks of good quality. Has your home got a burglar alarm? Has your car got an immobiliser?
There have been the usual instances of petty vandalism - please give information to the police if you see anything or anyone. There has been one instance of drugs possession, and the offender has been caught - please note that the police are continuing to press for action. And please also note that the police are currently active in the centre of Keyworth in giving out penalty tickets for illegal parking.
