Villa Road-Rose Grove footpath
to be preserved
The old footpath between Villa Road and Rose Grove, Keyworth is to be registered as a public right of way, the Rights of Way section of Nottinghamshire County Council has announced. This follows a campaign by local residents (supported by myself) to preserve this path permanently. For the best part of a century (no-one is really sure) the path has existed and has been regularly used by local people, and now it is to remain. I am glad that this useful public amenity has had its value recognised.
