Keyworth Connection re-launch
delayed to 16 September
Following my article here on 2 July, I have been informed that the re-launch of the Keyworth Connection bus service has been delayed to 16 September (from 5 August).
In addition, Trent Barton have changed their plans about the type and colour of the vehicles to be used. The new buses will be brand-new Optare Tempos in a maroon livery (not yellow) with leather seats and air conditioning and with a larger capacity than the present vehicles. The new buses will be wheelchair-friendly, and further details about them can be seen at www.optare.com/Products/Tempo.htm.
