There seems to be a continuing problem with various kinds of theft. Damage to vehicles and property is still disturbingly common.
The new police contact point in Digital House (behind Somerfield, just off the Square) is expected to be fully open by the end of March after refurbishment, though Rob Inglis and Phil Evans will be based there from 6 March.
